Couple Session Photography
Couple sessions are such fun things to do because there are three stages to most sessions. There are the hellos, and the getting started part where we are trying to find out with each other how this is going to work. Then there is getting into the body of the session, where there is the interplay between the couple and each other, and myself and the couple. The third stage is where we know we have our shots, we have settled into the session, and there might be a little sense of fun, euphoria, laughter and letting yourself go.
I similarly believe in engagement sessions, I think they're a good way to get beautiful lifelong images from before you are married, that show you in your more everyday clothes, in a setting that you chose with your photographer, and often in the best light of the whole day.
Here are some featured engagement sessions and couple sessions sessions that show how fun, relaxed, pretty, connecting these sessions can be. We can work through any nervousness you have in front of the camera, and show you that you can flow and be in each other's company and get some great images.
My engagement couples often display these images at their wedding itself - they use them sometimes on their wedding websites and on the invitations for their wedding. Of course as a Hawke's Bay Wedding Photographer I love seeing excited brides, grooms and couples showing their engagement session photos on their social media and tagging me in their photos.
